I have to admit, it took me way longer than it should've to check out this album, being stuck on FOTK and Mad Valentines for a while. But damn, when i did, it really popped off. I consider it to be his best album, its so poppy, it flows so well and its so densely packed. rabrustic

Scary goes pretty experimental with this impressive little EP/single/whatever-you-call-it. Acting as sort of a strange "bonus" to 2019's Birds, he goes to some funky places. Bobolink sounds meditative, Why Rocket is a catchy little piano ditty, but Hortense steals the show for me with how it sounds like the music is melting and collapsing in on itself. Even in his shorter releases, he never fails to impress. aependell
